Gotten it completely soaked multiple times and still fires off, I've shot it from well below freezing and it honestly has never skipped a beat with hunting loads.

Although asked repeatedly, Retay has said nothing about the Gordion 20, either way.

That's why I'm trying to see if anyone has experienced the Retay yet, since it's inertia and I'm in the market for a sub-$1000 shotgun. I would prefer the ATA Venza avaible at Academy rather than the overpriced Masai Mara.
No timothy, they aren't. Sure, generally speaking they are cheaper than their counterparts, but that's the point. They are made cheap with cost-cutting quality control. Benelli shotguns have always been sorely overpriced. Current MSRP on a Benelli M2 camo is still a hefty $1559, compared to the Retay Gordion camo's $899 MSRP. Yet, the Retay is the higher quality, more reliable shotgun with their patented Inertia Plus action that eliminates the well-known Benelli click, adding the speed-unloading feature as well.
However, these Turkish shotguns have a vastly higher rate of QC errors and serious problems, and to top it off they do not have legitimate support if there is a problem as mentioned earlier. CONCLUSION : Bottomline, stay away from these Turkish "tactical" shotguns unless you like risk.
